Probios-branded products were introduced to the market for the first time as the pioneering organic and macrobiotic products in Italy.


2004
Probios wins the Food Innovation Award at Biofach, Nuremberg (DE), with the first vegan rice-based mayonnaise. It is the first Italian company to receive this recognition.


2005
Probios acquires a stake in Il Nutrimento, a company specialized in the production of sauces, dressings, and preserves.

2010
Probios reaches the shelves of the large-scale retail distribution (GDO). Three years later, it enters pharmacies.

2016
The new Probios headquarters in Calenzano (FI) is inaugurated. A place that reflects the company’s values: from the photovoltaic system to the focus on employee well-being, thanks to the organic canteen and gym.

Probios acquires 100% of BiotoBio and all its owned brands (Baule Volante, Fior di Loto, Finestra sul Cielo, ViviBio).
