Roundtable Detergency Eco Home: The New Meeting

Great participation for the rest of the round table organized by the ecological detergents Probios during the fair Sana last September! The depth meeting was held in Bologna, attended by about 30 people representing manufacturers, certification bodies, consumer associations, trade magazines. Present also Fabrizio Zago, chemical and Commissioner Ecolabel and ICEA. In the absence of reference standards, the meeting discussed the improvement of existing standards of voluntary certification of ecological detergents, with the aim of providing the consumer with clear information about the various aspects that make up the quality of a products of ecological detergents (toxicity and biodegradability, ecologicitè packaging, natural source raw materials and eventual organic certification, washing efficiency, no synthetic fragrances). The working group was given appointments on a monthly basis in order to define common rules and shared quickly and provide the consumer with certain elements in order to recognize quality products from those of so-called "eco smart". Among the participants at the meeting there also was the company Pierpaoli manufacturer in the line of detergents Folia distributed by Probios, one of the first in Europe that uses surfactants from certified organic origin.
