In the year that closes its fortieth anniversary, Probios will participate at SIAL Paris 2018, the International Food Show to be held in Paris from 21 to 25 October.
For the prestigious SIAL Innovation Award 2018, the Florentine company presented four brand new products, which were immediately pre-selected for the SIAL Innovation Selection by a panel of experts, in order to take part in the final selection.
- The Organic Wrap with Pulses Mix by AltriCereali - Probios, is produced with a special formulation based on legume flour (lentils and chickpeas) and without the addition of animal fats. The product is suitable for those who follow a gluten-free and vegan diet, moreover, it’s a source of fiber, yeasts- and palm oil-free. The products can be prescribed on the Italian National Health System.
- The Probios Cous Cous Time Turmeric and Vegetables available in the practical "cup" complete with forks is a long-life product that lends itself easily to consumption away from home: it’s indeed possible to prepare it with both hot and cold water. An all-Italian innovation, with a low fat content for a light and fast meal! The Cous Cous Time Tomato and Marjoram version is also available.
- Rice&Rice Gluten-free Crisp Toasts are the first and only organic on the Italian market. The product is gluten-free, with the barred spike on pack and can be prescribed on the Italian National Health System. The recipe is prepared with sunflower oil and is also available in the version with whole wheat flour, linseed, sunflower and quinoa.
- The Rice&Rice Gluten-free Doughnuts, like the Crisp Toasts, are the only organic and gluten-free on the Italian market, with the barred spike on pack and can be prescribed on the Italian National Health System. They are also available with chocolate chips.
