Broccoli and Provolone Tart

  • 2 medium broccoli
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 smoked or spicy provola
  • breadcrumbs q.s.
  • 1 egg
  • extravirgin olive oil q.s.
  • salt q.s.
  • thyme q.s.
  1. Cut the broccoli into small pieces and rinse them, steam for 20 minutes. Put them in a large bowl and add two tablespoons of bread crumbs, 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, the egg, twoteaspoons of fresh cleanthy me, add salt and stir.
  2. With the help of an immersion blender, mix all the ingredients until a puree is obtained. If the consistency is too soft, add more bread crumbs.
  3. Cut the provola into thinslices and then into strips of about 2 cm. Grease the cocottine or baking molds you have decided to use.
  4. With the help of a spoon, make a first layer of about 4cm with the mixture obtained, cover with slices of provola and continue in alternating layers up to the edge of the container. On the last layer, sprinkle the breadcrumbs and decorate with the strips of cheese over laid like a tartgrate.
  5. Heat the oven to 180°C and cook for 25 minutes, the last 5 minutes let them cooking with the grill option. Remove from the oven, let cool and serve.
