INGREDIENTS
- - 4 Golden Delicious apples
- - 150 grams of wheat flour 00
- - 2 eggs
- - 150 g of sugar
- - 50 g of butter
- - ½ teaspoon of baking powder
- - Cinnamon

- - Icing sugar
- - Apricot jam
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
- Peel the apples dividing 3 of them into small cubes and the last in slices.
- Beat in the eggs along with all the sugar less a spoon, then stir in the flour, being careful to avoid lumps. Unite gradually the softened butter (or oil), baking powder, a pinch of cinnamon and a teaspoon of apple cubes. Mix well, adding a few tablespoons of milk if the mixture is too thick.
- Place the dough in a baking sheet 28-30 cm in diameter. Level it with a wooden spoon and arrange the apple slices in a decorative way. Sprinkle with a tablespoon of granulated sugar and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and, if desired, dust the cake with powdered sugar, or cover with a thin layer of apricot jam.
