Salad of the New World with Herbs

INGREDIENTS
  • - 200 g of beans -borlotti
  • - 2 corn cob
  • - 250 g tomatoes
  • - 12 lettuce leaves
  • - 1 clove garlic
  • - 1 bunch of marjoram
  • - 1 bunch of chives
  • - 5 sprigs of thyme
  • - 2 bay leaves
  • - 2 sprigs of savory
  • - Extra virgin olive oil
  • - Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Boil the beans for 40 minutes, at the end salt flavoring the cooking water with the bay leaves tied together with sprigs of savory and the clove of garlic, with the peel.
  2. Golden the corn cobs evenly on a grill, being careful not to burn them.
  3. Shred the chives finely and mix immediately in 2 tablespoons of olive oil, then season the tomatoes cutted into small slices with a pinch of salt.
  4. Shell the cooled corn gently in a bowl and mix them quickly with the chopped marjoram and a ta-blespoon of oil, then cover them.
  5. Drain the beans and, once warm, season with a pinch of salt, a tablespoon of olive oil and thyme leaves.
  6. Mix tomatoes, corn and beans. Spread on the bottom of 4 bowls a few leaves of lettuce and slice the remaining, mixing them with vegetables. Put it all into bowls and serve.
