Salad of the New World with Herbs

INGREDIENTS
  • - 200 g of beans
  • - 2 corn cob
  • - 250 g of cherry tomatoes
  • - 12 leaves of lettuce
  • - 1 clove of garlic
  • - 1 bunch of marjoram
  • - 1 bunch of chives
  • - 5 sprigs of thyme
  • - 2 bay leaves
  • - 2 sprigs of savory
  • - Extra virgin olive oil
  • - salt
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Boil the beans for 40 minutes, salt them at the end and flavor the cooking water with the bay leaves tied with sprigs of savory and the clove of garlic with the peel.
  2. Golden the corn cobs evenly on a dish, taking care not burn them.
  3. Shred the chives finely and mix immediately with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, then season the tomatoes into small wedges with a pinch of salt.
  4. Shell the corn gently cooled in a bowl and mix them quickley with the chopped marjoram and a tablespoon of olive oil, then cover them.
  5. Drain the beans and, once warmed, season with a pinch of salt, a tablespoon of olive oil and thyme leaves.
  6. Stir tomatoes, corn and beans. Spread on the bottom of 4 bowls a few leaves of lettuce and slice the remaining, stirring the vegetables. Put everything into bowls and serve.
