INGREDIENTS
- - 150 g Millet
- - 50 g Whole Cous Cous
- - 200 g Shelled Peas
- - Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- - Salt
- - turmeric
- - saffron
- - 4 Burger Buns
INSTRUCTIONS
- First of all, focus on the peas. You must simmer them for a few minutes in a pot with lightly salted boiling water. afterwards, drain them with a simmer, keeping aside the water to use it for the millet and couscous.
- Boil the millet, after rinsing it carefully, using three parts of water for each part of millet. let it simmer for about twenty minutes.
- Put the couscous in the same volume of water into a covered container for 10 minutes until it has absorbed all the water.
- When the cereals are ready, let them cool, mix with the peas and a pinch of salt (if you prefer, before mixing, blend briefly to make them more creamy). Melt the turmeric and saffron hold with 3 spoons of oil and mix the spices with the cereals.
- Lightly oil your hands and form the burgers. if you want to shape them perfectly, use a mould. place them on a tray covered with baking paper and put them in oven for 20 minutes at 190 °c, flipping them when they’re halfway through. Golden, crisp and tasty: you will be amazed. You can serve them in with a soft burger bun, for an all vegetable sandwich!
