Jam of Grapes and Thyme

INGREDIENTS
  • - 850 g of grapes
  • - 250 g of sugar
  • - 1 sprig of thyme
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Gather together in a bowl with a lid the grapes and sugar, stir and let marinate for 12 hours. Stir again for 2-3 times in regular intervals.
  2. Drain the fruit and pour the juice into a saucepan, then let it restrict on the stove for about twenty minutes.
  3. In thge meanwhile squeeze the lemon and prepare with a cheesecloth a bundle with thyme, seeds and half of the lemon juice without the rind. At the end, close it with kitchen twine.
  4. Add the lemon juice to the now caramelized syrup, the grapes and gauze bag, continue for 10 minutes at this point and lift up the bag, squeeze it, and after 5 minutes remove from heat.
  5. Pour the jam into jars, close them, turn them upside down for vacuum and let them cool in this position.
