Orange Cream and Star Anise Custard

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a bowl, combine the orange juice, the turmeric and the ginger and simmer it on a low heat.
  2. To a side, boil the rice drink with some seeds of star anise, then let it cool down.
  3. Combine the rice flour with some rice drink (remove the anise seeds first) and let it thicken on a low heat whisking it constantly.
  4. When it thickens, add the orange syrup and simmer for a few more minutes.
  5. Serve as a side with cakes, decorating with some anise seeds.
