INGREDIENTS
- - 1 kg of fresh apples - renette
- - 12 dried prunes
- - 2 tablespoons pomegranate
- - 1 orange
- - 1 small piece of cinnamon bark
- - 1 clove
- - flaked almonds
INSTRUCTIONS
- Peel and slice the apples coarsely and place them in a saucepan. Add the prunes, 6 cloves of orange with a small piece of its bark, clove, cinnamon bark and about 500 ml of water (adjust the amount depending on the density you want to achieve).
- Cover and simmer over low heat for about 25 minutes, until the fruit becomes soft. Let cool. Toast the flakes of almond in the oven for a few minutes.
- Remove the spices and blend the rest. Spread the puree into cups and sprinkle the surface with the pomegranate seeds and almonds. It is also excellent substituting plums with 500 g of pears. You can pair it with cookies or decorate it with a drizzle of honey or yogurt. To enhance the detoxifying effect and creaminess, while cooking add two tablespoons of powdered KUZO (a root Eastern Europe).
