Power: Bio Diet Lowers the Levels of Pesticides in the Body

A diet made exclusively of organic foods may decrease the level of pesticide residues in the body up to 90 percent. This suggests a small preliminary study of RMIT University in Melbourne published in the journal Environmental Research.
The researchers selected 13 people making them have a week of diet with 83% "certified organic," food and the rest "probably" organic. During the study levels of dialchilfosfati were measured in the urine, chemicals that are made of pesticides by up to 80 percent.

"During the week, the levels of these substances have fallen to almost 90 percent. Study should, however, be „repeated on a more large sample of people before taking conclusions," so the authors concluded.
