Probios will attend SANA 2016 with a full program of activities #InFavorOfLife.
In occasion of the 29th edition of the International Exposition of organic and natural products, that will take place in Bologna from September, Friday 9th to Monday 12th, Probios will involve visitors and enthusiasts in a long series of themed initiatives.
#InFavourOfLife, the common thread that will identify the exposition, comes from the name of the company and its greek origin “Pro” “bios”, “in favor of life”, that summarizes the belief that underlies its daily work.
“SANA is one of the most important exhibition and showcase in Europe for organic and natural products, an event that we mustn’t definitely miss – claimed Fernando Favilli, President of Probios -. It represents a great occasion of meeting and exhibiting for the producers, not only for trade reasons but also for the consumers, that are more and more interested in the organic market. When I think about organic products I don’t think about business, but to the constant effort that Probios puts into supporting those behaviors that contribute to make our world a better place, taking special care of the health of people and of the environment”.
To Probios, selling organic products doesn’t only represent a business occasion, but it also has to support the behaviors that contribute to make our world a better place. To the company, taking care and concerning about people and the environment is crucial: purchasing organic products means choosing companies that demand an accurate selection of harvesting methods for their raw materials, and that don’t surrender to herbicides, pesticides and chemical synthesized fertilizers that are only polluting our land, our water and our air.
On Friday, we will focus on the gluten-free theme, thanks to the participation of Doctor Elisa Spaghetti, nutritionist, dietitian and member of the Scientific Tuscany Regional Committee of Onlus Italian Celiac Association, that will meet visitors at the exposition from 3.30 pm to answers their questions and curiosities about the theme. Her partner and supporter will be Tiziana Colombo, a.k.a. Nonna Paperina, the famous gluten-free expert food blogger, that will prepare tasty meals based on alternative gluten-free cereals.
Our special guest for the weekend will be instead Paola Maugeri, anchorwoman and dj, vegan for 18 years, author of successful books on a conscious lifestyle, that – from 3.30 to 5.30 pm, both on Saturday and Sunday - will perform with her sister, a raw food chef, in a vegan show cooking based on 100% organic whole grains, seeds and legumes.
Also on Saturday, Rossella Bartolozzi, Probios CFO, will be one of the protagonists of the meeting organized by Assobio: “Everything you ever wanted to know about Organic (but you never dare to ask)”, that aims to spread the organic lifestyle.
All the activities that will take place at the stand will be shared on Social Media through the hashtag #InFavourOfLife. Visitors and enthusiast will also be able to ask questions on every topic and ask for advice to the experts that will attend the events. They’ll only need to tweet their questions with the hashtag #AskProbios and to mention @PROBIOSFlorence. Amongst all the questions, the most interesting ones will be chosen and answered live.
