In occasion of its 40th organic high quality anniversary the Italian leader in the distribution of organic products for vegetarian and intolerant diets, is one of the protagonists of the first edition of FirenzeBio, the showcase of biodynamic and organic products that will take place in Florence from the 23rd to the 25th march
Probios, Italian leader company in the distribution of organic products for vegetarian and intolerant diets, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, announces its participation to the first edition of FirenzeBio, scheduled from the 23rd to the 25th March at Fortezza da Basso, Florence. In this period of growth, both of production and consumption, of biodynamic and organic products, FirenzeBio offers a high quality showcase to display and know more about topics such as wellness, food, body care, education and safety.
Many meetings, tastings and special parties will take place during the innovative exhibition, that will also directly involve Probios, at the stand B 21-22/41-42.
The Group will take part of many initiatives:
On Friday 23 March, starting at 3 pm, Fernando Favilli (Chairman of Probios) will intervene as Vice-President of Assobio on the occasion of the conference “Change the Earth, starting with countries and cities” and a dedicated round table a “The role of the Municipalities for the promotion and development of organic and biodynamic agriculture” organized by Federbio. The project aims to raise awareness about the damage of chemical agriculture to health, the environment, social cohesion and the economy.
Probios will directly organize on Saturday the 24th the meeting “Food and Health. How diet influences our life”, that has the goal to clarify and know more about the complex relationship with health, food and wellness, thanks to the contribution of dr. Simona Mezzera and dr. Armando Sarti, and the participation of Rossella Bartolozzi (Probios’ CFO), as presenter of the event.
During the event, many tastings are also scheduled. Probios will be protagonist of many cooking shows: the first, with the starred chef Antonello Sardi (Friday 23rd march, at 5pm) from the Florentine restaurant La Bottega del Buon Caffè, and with the chef Elena Bossi from La Sana Gola, Healthy Natural and Holistic Cooking School in Milan, the best natural cooking school in Europe, and an important center of debate for a more sustainable, ethical and balanced lifestyle.
Also, the Florence Municipality, along with many local sport associations and professionals, will also focus to the theme of organic food connected to sport, with the goal to raise awareness on the importance of balanced diet and sport. Another important topic that Probios has also been taking care of for many years, supporting the young athletes from Volpi Rosse Menarini, wheelchair basketball team that is involved in a health journey with a double goal: health on the field, health in every meal.
