INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Pour the apple juice into a saucepan, add raisins, lemon rind, and boil for about twenty minutes. Then add a pinch of salt and continue for a few minutes.
  2. Soak the corn flakes and those of oats in the warm apple juice and let stand for about thirty minutes. Then lift up the zest and mix in the freshly chopped walnuts.
  3. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and roll out the mixture of flakes to form a thick dough base.
  4. Peel the apples and cut them into quarters, then cut each slice into strips. Place these in a decorative way covering the base completely.
  5. Pour a glass of water in a small saucepan, bring to a boil and let dissolve the agar agar, then add the malt and remove from heat. Cover the layer of apple slices with this glaze and bake the cake for 30-40 minutes at 180 ° C.
