Chestnuts Crumble with Vanilla

INGREDIENTS
  • - 500 g of chestnuts, boiled
  • - 50 g of brown sugar
  • - 10 g of butter
  • - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • - Rum
  • For the crumble:
  • - 100 g flour
  • - 50 g of brown sugar
  • - 50 g of butter
  • - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Fry fast for about 5 minutes the chestnuts with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. If you want you can wet them with 1 to 2 tablespoons of rum.
  2. Gather in a bowl the flour, the vanilla extract, the brown sugar and butter. Work these ingredients quickly by hand obtaining a crumbs dough
  3. Fill 4 cocotte portions with chestnuts, cover them with the mixture of the crumble and bake at 180 ° C for 15 minutes, continuing under the grill for another 5 minutes so as to brown the surface. Serve the crumble still hot.
